GEO Rank Optimizer (Pro version) integrates with third-party artificial intelligence APIs to provide optional content analysis and rewriting suggestions. This policy describes which AI services are used, what data is transmitted, under what conditions, and the terms that govern those services. The Developer does not operate or control any of the AI models described below.

2. OpenAI API

Provider: OpenAI, L.L.C., 3180 18th Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA.

Purpose: Used to generate AI-powered content analysis and rewriting suggestions when the User activates this feature and provides a valid OpenAI API key.

Data transmitted:

• Post title and body text of the content being analyzed or rewritten.
• No personally identifiable information (PII) of website visitors is transmitted.
• No data is transmitted without explicit User action (e.g., clicking ‘Analyze’ or ‘Rewrite’).

The User is responsible for reviewing and complying with OpenAI’s usage policies, including restrictions on content types and data handling requirements.

3. Anthropic API (Claude)

Purpose: Used as an alternative AI provider for content analysis and rewriting suggestions when the User activates this feature and provides a valid Anthropic API key.

Data transmitted:

• Post title and body text of the content being analyzed or rewritten.
• No personally identifiable information (PII) of website visitors is transmitted.
• No data is transmitted without explicit User action.

The User is responsible for reviewing and complying with Anthropic’s usage policies and acceptable use guidelines.

4. Google Gemini API

Provider: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Purpose: Used as an alternative AI provider for content analysis and rewriting suggestions when the User activates this feature and provides a valid Google Gemini API key.

Data transmitted:

• Post title and body text of the content being analyzed or rewritten.
• No personally identifiable information (PII) of website visitors is transmitted.
• No data is transmitted without explicit User action.

The User is responsible for reviewing and complying with Google’s usage policies and generative AI prohibited use policy.

5. API Key Security

API keys provided by the User are stored in the WordPress database of the User’s own server and are never transmitted to the Developer or to any server other than the respective AI provider. The User is solely responsible for:

• Keeping their API keys confidential and secure.
• Monitoring API usage and associated costs on their provider accounts.
• Revoking and replacing API keys if they suspect any unauthorized use.

6. Data Retention by Third-Party Providers

The Developer has no control over how third-party AI providers store, process, or use data transmitted to their APIs. Each provider’s data retention and processing practices are governed exclusively by their own privacy policies, linked in the sections above. Users in jurisdictions with specific data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, LGPD) are advised to review those policies before enabling AI features.

7. No AI Training on User Content

The Developer does not use any content processed through the Plugin to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. However, third-party AI providers may have their own policies regarding the use of API inputs for model training. Users should consult each provider’s privacy policy for details.

8. Human Oversight Requirement

All content suggestions generated by AI integrations within the Plugin are presented as drafts for human review. The Plugin is designed so that no AI-generated content is published automatically without explicit User approval. The User bears full editorial responsibility for any content they choose to publish.

9. Changes to This Policy

This AI Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the services used or applicable regulations. The most current version will always be available at https://georankoptimizer.com. Continued use of the Plugin’s AI features after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
